Why I chose the Cooper Primary Care Track: To expand my opportunities to work outpatient and improve my clinic experiences, as well as find mentorship and support among like-minded residents and attendings.

Who I am outside of Medicine: I'm passionate about cooking and my garden. This year I'm trying to grow cantaloupes and butternut squash for the first time. I like to ride my bike, hike, brew beer, and hang out with my sisters and nephew, who also live in Philly.

Career Interests: Primary care of the underserved, addiction medicine and undergraduate medical education with a focus on humanism and communication

Why I chose the Cooper Primary Care Track: On my interview day I had a strong sense that the Internal Medicine residents and faculty put worth in both the art and science of medicine. They were happy to be here learning and practicing medicine in Camden every day. The Primary Care Track experience was well rounded, offering a primary site in an underserved clinic with varied experiences in the South Jersey community.

Who I am outside of Medicine: An urban native plant and vegetable gardener with an interest in permaculture design and wildlife habitats.
