If you currently hold H-1B status at another program, you must have sufficient eligibility remaining to complete the program.

  • Candidates who desire H1B visa sponsorship must communicate that in writing (via email) to the Program Director within 7 days following their Cooper Neurology interview.
  • The Neurology program will indicate in writing to individual candidates, prior to the NRMP Rank deadline (March 5, 2025), its willingness to sponsor an H1B visa for them. Candidates must not construe verbal communication as evidence of Cooper’s willingness to sponsor an H1B.
  • Once a candidate has matched at Cooper Neurology, all requirements include completion of USMLE/COMLEX Steps 1-3 must be completed and supporting documentation sent to the Neurology program by April 15.

What to Expect

We begin our interview season in October and end in the middle of January. Applicants are selected to interview based on many factors:

  • Letters of recommendation
