Our residency program serves an under-served, urban community and promotes a mission-driven passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to all communities, focusing on the marginalized communities that have been overlooked by the health care system. We recognize the need to continuously work against systemic prejudices by exploring and engaging the biases in us all. In this vein, our faculty participates in ongoing trainings to ensure that they provide a welcoming, equitable, and fair educational environment. Faculty members and residents will also participate in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion plan of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Cooper University Health Care, and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. We as a program strive to create a safe, courageous, and diverse environment for our residents. For more details, visit the links above.
