Didactics
Our residents benefit from a dynamic didactic program every Wednesday (1 - 5 p.m.) and Noon Report on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The curriculum blends hands-on training, interactive teaching, and professional development, featuring:
- Procedure workshops, radiology rounds, and a comprehensive POCUS curriculum.
- Lectures from specialists, core faculty, residents, pharmacists, psychologists, and community partners.
- A signature Department Chair–led series.
- Sessions on communication, research, and financial literacy.
- Built-in resident support groups and meetings.
The curriculum follows an 18-month cycle to ensure depth and reinforcement. By graduation, every resident is certified in Nexplanon insertion and prepared with the skills and knowledge to thrive in practice.
