Cooper University Health Care has a partnering medical school, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU), an allopathic medical school located in Camden, New Jersey. CMSRU admits less than 100 medical students per year who are matched for a desire to train and practice in an urban underserved environment.
Cooper Addiction Medicine Fellows will rotate with and train medical students in trauma-informed evidence-based substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. Further, fellows will participate in a variety of protected didactic and learning workshop sessions that occur daily, including full half-day session weekly.
