Program Information
The Residency Program at Cooper University Hospital/ Cooper Medical School of Rowan University is an ACGME accredited 4-year combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) program (ACGME Program Number 3003300001).
Positions
There are two PGY1 positions available in the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency Program at Cooper University Hospital for the 2024-2025 interview cycle. The academic year begins July 1, 2025.

The Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency Program at Cooper University Hospital participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and all information is processed through this system without exception.
Participation with NRMP is required.

Application Procedures for Foreign Medical Graduates: Postgraduate Year One (PGY-1)
- Please follow the requirements for PGY-1 applicants through ERAS and include a copy of your Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) Interim Certificate or Standard Certificate, your USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 results and CSA Certification.
- Notification from ECFMG of your passing test scores is not sufficient.
- No interview appointments are made until the Training Program Director receives a copy of your Interim or Standard Certificate.
- As in the case of LCME/American Graduates, you must participate in the NRMP through ERAS. An interview is required for ranking.
Application Timeline
The application and all supporting documentation must be submitted by October 15 of the year preceding the program start date. October through January – Invitations for interviews will be extended on a rolling basis. Applicants considered for an appointment participate in a virtual interview with the program director / associate program director and selected faculty members.
