Requirements
Applicants must
- Be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- Possess a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree
- Be participating in, or have completed, an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program or one in the ASHP accreditation process (i.e., one with candidate or preliminary accreditation status)
- Be graduates of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited degree program (or one in process of pursuing accreditation) or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). At a minimum, the program must be a five-year pharmacy degree program
- This program accepts applicants with a J-1 Visa that is sponsored through the Exchange Visitor Program of the United States Department of State
Applicants must register for The Match – ASHP Resident Matching Program

Candidates must apply through ASHP PhORCAS. A completed application shall include the following:
- Residency Application
- Personal Statement/Letter of Intent
- Curriculum Vitae
- Three letters of recommendations of which at least two references should be from an inpatient clinical pharmacy specialist or similar role
